Founders Message : Lyle Cazes (1946 - 2009)
I have been involved in innovation and inventing as long as I can remember. It is what I do and what excites me. To see something move from an idea to full operational status is for me the most satisfying and thrilling experience imaginable.
I first 'got my feet wet' in 1971 with my creation of a company dedicated to the manufacture of silviculture equipment.
The development of the Low Impact Pipeline series of technologies has been in the making since 1995. That's when I first envisioned the need to reduce the environmental impact on our northern wetland areas. The goal was obvious, getting there involved the creation of several key technologies including our Cameron Bucket®, and the Cameron Packing Wheel. The end result was a system that not only minimized the impact on wetlands, but on farmland and forest as well.
While there is a conception that environmental = expensive, our technologies are not only easy on the earth, they're cost-effective.
Low Impact Pipeline Systems Inc. is providing a vehicle for all to get on board and be a worldwide example of what can be done. It is my privilege to be involved with a process in which every one, and the environment, wins.
